Born in Jiangsu, China, CZ relocated with his family to Vancouver, British Columbia, during the late 1980s.

His father, once a university professor in China, faced exile due to being labeled a “pro-bourgeois intellect.”

CZ’s Journey in Computer Science and Finance

CZ pursued his passion for computer science by studying at McGill University in Montreal, Canada.

After obtaining his degree, he embarked on a career at the Tokyo Stock Exchange, where he developed cutting-edge software for matching trade orders.

Subsequently, he joined Bloomberg Tradebook, contributing as a skilled developer specializing in futures trading software.
