However, the community remains divided on whether Szabo is the creator of Bitcoin. Szabo has explicitly denied these claims, dismissing a journalist’s suggestion in an email by stating, “Thanks for letting me know. I’m afraid you got it wrong doxing me as Satoshi, but I’m used to it.”
